Welding of the Mohe-Daqing section of the Russia-China Crude Pipeline completed

    By June 6, the welding of the 926.84km-long Mohe-Daqing trunk was completed.

The Mohe-Daqing section runs from Mohe County, Heilongjiang Province, and ends at Daqing, with a total length of 926.84km.

The Mohe-Daqing section started to be built on May 18, 2009, and was expected to be completed within 18 months. Five months ahead of schedule, a total of 79,200 welded junctions have been completed, with the primary welding qualification rate of 98.7%. During the construction of the section, 23 highways, 15 railways and 17 rivers were crossed, and the Humahe River tunnel was cut through.
